This picture precedes "rebirth to new life" painted days before my move to Spain, when a thousand doubts, thoughts, remorse, perplexities, uncertainties, invaded my mind and clashed with my decidione, but now they could no longer stop my choice as everything had already been decided and planned. The subject, which is not obvious to me, represents this internal battle of mine, represents my ego now stripped of all that was mine up until then: my home with all the memories enclosed within it, work, friends, mine family ...in short my life. Sitting and with his fists clenched to represent this internal battle, the strength and courage of a man who at age 44 decides to turn the page and change his life and leave the certain for the uncertain.
