GOLD NUDE
I am a great admirer of the Italian Renaissance. In this painting I’m trying to capture the beauty of the human body. I modeled him in this pose out of appreciation for form and male anatomy. The balance of the body and a look on his face that conveys serenity in conjunction with the strength of the male body.
My inspiration here comes from Ancient Greece and the Exaltation of the Male Body. The representation of the body is a basic instinct of the human being, and it was not the Greeks, among the ancient peoples, who were the only ones to represent the human body as a beautiful object, full of meanings.
