COVID 19
I had already taken the reference photo of my model looking through the blinds back before all of this started. But I had discarded it because it wasn’t my favorite photo from the shoot.
But when COVID 19 happened, I was thinking about how I would use my Art form to reflect what it feels like to be alive in this moment. The several little nuances of existing right now.
Things like the toilet paper shortages, the masks, being stuck indoors, thirsty invitations on Grindr from guys that just don’t get it. Or maybe it’s just their dicks that don’t get it.
And suddenly this idea popped into my head, and I was so glad that I had taken that photo after all. Because it gave me the opportunity to do this!
