"This painting is from a series of Paintings I did for a solo exhibition entitled “Uniformed Chaos”. The paintings are a portrayal of the other side of the perception we have of soldiers.
Our view has always been that of strength and power. The uniform creates a sense of authority when we view it, however, looking past the exterior uniformed officers, if we look at the person we see more a sense of fear and anticipation of potential horrors to come. It is a tribute to soldiers everywhere, whose job it is to protect, to show as humans regardless of our roles we are all vulnerable and all need protection."
